Understanding Massage (Part 2)

If you have read my last post, you will understand the effect of massage it gives to our body and also the health benefits we will receive such as it can help to relax the muscles, improve circulation and blood flow, improve the circulation of oxygen around the body, soothe pain, and leave you feeling revitalised and energetic and etc..etc..

However, the right massage can also be very good for your skin. The improvement of circulation that occurs with a massage can benefit not only internal organs, but can also be reflected on the skin.

Here are few benefits a massage can bring to our skin :-

Massage helps to reduce tension in the skin and adjoining tissues as well as increasing its circulation and improve its nutrition
Massage depending on the medium used to apply it can help to re-moisturise and soften dry skin
Massage can also help to remove dead cells from your skin, removing any dullness and bringing fresh skin to the surface

Since our skin is the largest and most important part of our body system, I would say when we apply any products on our skin it is essential to choose  the right personal care and skin care products which contain only natural ingredients. It doesn’t make any sense to take all kind of  natural supplement diet but ignore our number one body organ which  is our skin that protect our other internal organs or choosing all natural products for external application without taking natural supplement.

After realizing the importance of our skin, I become very conscious of the products I choose to apply on my body from head to toe and the supplement I choose to take on daily basis.

Actually, if you haven’t started looking into such products for your skin, you don’t have to worry ! It’s never to late to change ! When you decide to change your brand, be smarter with your selection. You can find some good products available in the market and the price can be very affordable, containing all natural ingredients and you will be surprised to see the difference it brings to your skin after using them for at least 30 days. Healthy, Radiant, Beautiful Skin makes the difference in your look. We are never too old to look young and never too young to protect our skin from aging fast or premature aging.

I personally use skin care products with all the vitamins which also contain essential antioxidant and nutrients my skin craves for in one simple system. Each step of it  is formulated to do its part to nourish but I keep my skin radiant by using a combined system

If you want me to help you in the recommendation for your natural skin care products and supplement diet for skin beauty, please feel free to write me an email and I will help you with the simple, effective, natural and affordable selection.

Till we meet again !

Cheers

    Hi Pearly,
It is so good to see you on the TSA blogging tribe.
Congradulations. I agree totally with what you are saying about the importance of your skin…it tells all. I do use outstanding facial products, but not so much the massage. Have a grandson in the business, guess I need to use his services.

    Thanks rebecca

    Hi Pearly,

As a licensed massage therapist and licensed mental health counselor (practicing the Rubenfeld Synergy Method of talk and touch plus craniosacral and polarity therapy), I KNOW the power of touch to soothe muscles, to relax the body and to calm the mind. I wonder how so many people manage to get along without having regular massages. For me, it has become an essential part of my well being and health.

    Hi Pearly,
This is the first time to your blog! How nice to meet you through TSA. Massage is a wonderful experience and it certainly does a lot for your body. You raise an important question about the skin products you use. I have sensitive skin and now use after much testing, olive oil! I look forward to reading more posts!

    Pearly,
Thanks for sharing such a detailed post on the power of massage. I firmly believe that touch is so very therapeutic and healing. It’s a big part of what I recommend to my couples counseling clients to reconnect to themselves and each other. It’s so very powerful.

    Dear Pearly,

I just love this article! I love massage, but I have not had one in a very long time. I think that I need to change that! I have a number of health issues and I believe that I could get help from massage.

I think it is also so important to just have human touch. As a single parent with teenagers who don’t want to admit that they know me, there isn’t much touching going on right now! LOL!

I am going to see about getting a massage this week!

I’ve had a little therapeutic massage done, and I must say it was an eye-opening experience. Although I didn’t think about it at the time, I can now see the benefits of massage on the skin. Of course, during the massage, I wasn’t thinking about anything at all.

  16. Hello Pearly,

Massage can be used for relaxation, stimulation or rehabilitation of the whole body, or just part of it. Although all too often we only ever treat ourselves to a massage therapy when our bodies are exhausted and we have over exerted ourselves and we are feeling a bit burnt out...

Massage is a technique derived from many cultures, used for various reasons; comfort, touch, communication and a safe non threatening natural therapy, whatever the power of touch is of real benefit and can heal the mind body and soul... So treating ourselves to regular massage therapies and experiencing all the various types of treatments available is of real benefit to our well being.

Go out and make today the best day you ever had!
    Lloyd Dobson :)
